METAMORFOSE

We were commissioned by Gamko -a manufacturer and supplier of professional drinks refrigeration- to renovate their canteen. The space was now hardly or not at all used and they would like to see things differently.
In addition to a nice-looking space, they also want to create more solidarity so that more employees will use the canteen.

Besides solidarity the employees of Gamko were hoping for a flexible space were they can eat, work, relax, host events, and recieve guests. Of course all in their house style.

Gamko had letten us know that they were mainly looking for inspiration. Therefore we decided to go "all out" style and budget wise.

To make it more approachable we presented two plans that would make it more achievable according to their priorities.

Our Concepts:

We went for a modern, bright interior with industrial details to combine both the office and the factory. To bring to company closer together we added a floor-to-ceiling window that overlooks the factory. This also gives a great opportunity to show guests how their products are being made.

By using mobile deviders we created different zones that could easily be changed to fit certain events. The different seating arrangements keep the space playfull and together with the modular furniture the room is widely applicable.

A kitchen island -shaped as the logo- serves as the focal point of the room that brings everything together. The kitchen not only contains all needed appliances for the employees, it also showcases Gamko's products.
